What we will learn
We will use the guidelines outlined in http://www.robin-beaumont.co.uk/rbeaumont/virtualclassroom/chap16/s1/sembk2.pdf to help us in our critical evaluation of the two classic studies into sleep deprivation.
As individuals we will learn how to effectively work within a group with a common shared goal of a successful PowerPoint presentation and a good assessment grade. We will also learn how to use the digital drop-box to send word documents concerning the PowerPoint presentation and the presentation itself.
Assessment
The group power point presentation will be assessed using a mean peer evaluation sheet as well as evaluation from tutors.
Attendance will also count towards the overall assessment mark.
Each group member will fill in the 'Assessment of educational usefulness of a workgroup' and present the findings as a final PowerPoint slide in the presentation.
Additional Aspects
The group is well bonded as it formed from an already existing group of friends. The group will continue to show maximum support and trust in each others abilities. This will hopefully be shown in the questionnaires completed.
Individually we will utilise various resources in our research and communicate back to each other on our findings. Everyone's findings will be amalgamated to form the basis of the presentation.
In the unexpected event of conflict/unpunctuality etc within the group, we will hold an additional meeting to resolve said issues and to repair relationships within the group.
Signed.
